Where Summer Begins
A weekly summer camp for kids aged 8–12 - beach days, big adventures and new friends, right in the heart of Cascais.
Chasing Summer was created with one goal in mind: to give children the most fun and memorable days of their summer.
We're two proactive, responsible and genuinely enthusiastic people who love working with kids. We care about quality time, positive energy and real experiences - and that mindset shapes everything we do.
As people parents already know and trust, we take responsibility, communication and safety seriously. Because summer should be full of fun and peace of mind.
Summer is the most anticipated season of the year - sunshine, long days, beach moments and pure joy. At Chasing Summer, we turn every one of those days into something more special: a fun, meaningful experience where kids can be themselves, feel inspired, and make memories that last well beyond summer. Because for us, summer isn't just a break - it's an experience.
A dynamic mix of outdoor and creative experiences to keep kids engaged, active and happy all summer long.
We understand that every child is unique, coming from different backgrounds, experiences and perspectives.
While our programme is carefully planned, we always listen to the children - their ideas, interests and what they enjoy most.
Our goal isn't just a fun summer, but a space where diversity is celebrated and every child feels part of the experience.
Every week is packed with beach days, excursions and surprises. (Schedule may shift with the weather - and the odd surprise!)
Camp begins Wednesday 1st July - Week 1 runs Wed–Fri only.
Parents can choose what works best - book the full week or select individual days.
Daily pick-up and drop-off is at Cascais Market, at 9:00 AM and 4:30 PM. Need more flexibility? We're available from 8:30 AM on request.
During free play time, kids choose from activities like pottery, painting and arts & crafts - whatever sparks their interest.
A WhatsApp group is created with parents, where we share daily updates, important information and photos throughout the programme.
All transportation is organised by Chasing Summer, in partnership with Mário Bus - a trusted children's transport company with 30+ years of experience.
What makes Chasing Summer different is the connection we already have with the children. We're not strangers - we know them, and we understand their personalities, inside and outside the classroom.
Spending five days a week together means building trust, friendship and real moments that go beyond activities - a space where kids feel at home, enjoy their summer, and are surrounded by people who truly care about them.
